Hi, I am Henji, the founder and lead photographer of iOptix Studio Inc.



For a long time, I hid behind the iOptixStudio name, treating this space like a mysterious corporate entity. But let’s be real—when you hire a photographer or videographer, you aren't hiring a logo. You’re hiring the person behind the lens. So, let's skip the corporate talk and get to know each other!


I’m the guy obsessed with capturing your moments, and my passion for this art form spans over 10 incredible years.



How It All Started (Spoiler: I'm not That Young!)


My obsession with the camera truly ignited back in the day when I took a photography course at Humber College. It completely rewrote my career path and proved to me that, yes, I really am that young and full of energy to keep chasing this dream!


Before I picked up the camera full-time, my creative outlet was rhythm—I used to play the drums, and that deep-rooted love for music still fuels my workflow today. When I'm not editing photos or directing videos, you can usually find me lost in a good book, blasting my favorite tunes, or glued to the TV tracking every twist and turn of the latest Formula 1 race.

Behind every creative entrepreneur is an amazing support system. For the last 7 wonderful years, I’ve been happily married to my incredible wife, Melissa. Completing our little family is our chaotic, lovable dog, Peppa, who keeps us on our toes and ensures our home is never quiet when she barks.

On the Road Across Ontario and Worlwide

One of the absolute best perks of my job is the freedom to explore. I love to drive and travel absolutely everywhere across Ontario to shoot. Whether it’s an elegant city venue, a serene rustic property, or a hidden gems roadside lookout, I'll grab my keys and I’ll get there.

I genuinely love meeting new people and offering them the ultimate gift: frozen time through photography, and increasingly, dynamic storytelling through videography.


My ultimate goal is simple: I want to make people feel incredibly happy about themselves. I want to showcase your raw humanity, your hard work, and celebrate every single milestone you achieve—whether that's launching a new business, selling a gorgeous property, or marrying your favorite human.


I have a fierce, unshakeable passion for this craft. In fact, I am ready to have a spirited debate with absolutely anyone who dares to claim that "photography is dead." I believe it' still alive. As long as there are human stories to tell, love to capture, and milestones to celebrate, this art form is bursting with life.
